David Jr. was born in Cambria Heights, Queens New York. He was raised around Hip Hop, R&B and Rock N. Roll.  Growing up his family affectionately called him Day Day where the name just stuck and is now his stage name.  As a child to the recent years he learned to appreciate a love for music.  David Jr.'s father use to be a DJ in his early years.  His father always brought him every where he went.  He use to Dj House Parties, Block Parties, Backyard jams, Kids parties , etc. By being a Dj His father befriended (Dj Boogie Black, Dj D. Life, Dj Boo Da Barber, Dj Clue, Dj Kool Fresh and Dj Ike Love) they all helped and motivated him thru his career.

Now at the age of 15 David Jr decided to fulfill him and his Father's desire by continuing the dream of becoming the next big Artist in the Music Industry.  He is currently a full time student at Dix Hills High School. David is taking an advanced video and editing class to learn to make and edit music videos.  During his spare time away from school David goes to the studio, records demos and listens to new beats.      He is now shopping a demo CD in the streets and advertising on the web on various sites.

David is a solo artist and is working with a long time producer/artist/songwriter that helps him along the way.  He also has connections with old school rapper Chub Rock and Def Jam Marketing Producer Ashaunna Ayars. We were advised by these two that we needed to create a following and fan base to become  more marketable in the music industry.  Being that David is new to the scene he does not currently have any recognition situations to speak of.

We have since created a Myspace page, Facebook acct., Twitter, and listed his music on various unsigned artist web sites to create a fan base.  During the short time that we on these sites we have received great feed back from the listeners and online streaming DJ's that play the demos on their shows.  We have a web site that is under construction www.dayday2.com that we will be able to follow David and his music progress.

David is a talented and confident artist that is not afraid of change and would make an excellent addition to any label.  David is dedicated to this movement and understands that it will be a long hard road that he is willing to take and accept all  of the challenges that he will be up against.
